Grove Bags - TerpLoc 7g

smart storage

Are you already putting moisture-regulating packs in your storage containers because you've seen how good they are?

Congratulations, your harvest is now safe from mold and will taste even better.

But here's the thing: the Grove Bags themselves are regulating (58 - 62%) and you don't even need the container anymore and you never have to buy packs again!

What do I have to do?

Actually proceed as usual:

Allow to dry for 1 - 2 weeks at approx. 18 - 20° C until the stored goods have approx. 10 - 12% residual moisture, or the humidity in a closed container reaches 62%.

In order for the bags to function as expected, they must not be filled completely, but rather 75%; the bags need the remaining 25% to breathe. This is crucial for their function.

To be on the safe side, you should check for condensation in the first few days (if that means the contents were not dry enough) and in that case you would have to open the bag again for an hour, for example, wipe away the water and repeat this process until no more water condenses. It is therefore a good idea to determine the moisture content as accurately as possible beforehand.

What do you get?

Humidity regulation of 58 – 62 % up and down, thus protecting against yield-reducing weight loss due to drying out on the one hand, and against total losses due to mold on the other

The TerpLoc bags are odor-proof, which also means minimal loss of terpenes and active ingredients. This environment promotes and protects the ripening process

They can be ironed shut, even if the zip closure is already very good, ironing them offers maximum protection for a longer storage period. An iron is suitable for this, and a film sealing device also works, of course. This significantly delays the degradation of active ingredients compared to storage in glass jars or Mylar bags, the manufacturer says 50 - 90%

The oxygen in the TerpLoc bag is minimized and the associated loss of taste caused by oxidation of oils is prevented

The bags do not need to be stored in a dark room due to the UV protection; temperatures around 18 - 20° C are best for storage

The antistatic film of the TerpLocs prevents valuable harvest parts from remaining in a container, especially with resinous herbs

Smaller branches in the herbs do not easily damage the bags, they are puncture-proof, all the advantages of the bag are thus retained and ensure the following point:

Virtually infinitely reusable. With other approaches, such as soy oil-based paint, Grove Bags tries to produce TerpLocs as environmentally friendly as possible
